Great Clips Match Day on Sunday, October 29th

In need of a haircut?  Stop by any Charleston area Great Clips for a new do and donate too!  All funds raised will be matched this Sunday, October 29th to help benefit the campaign to build the new MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in downtown Charleston.  Great Clips is one of many Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s corporate partners who fundraise locally to help the children of the Lowcountry.  One family in particular is very passionate about the CMN Hospital’s campaign as well as Great Clips.  Mary Scott Gallus (pictured left) is a patient at the MUSC Children’s Hospital.  She was cared for by Dr. Eskandari who performed three brain surgeries on Mary Scott within a few days due to

a JPA Grade 1 brain tumor.  Since then she has relearned how to walk and has also relearned all of her motor activities and skills with her right hand.  If you get the pleasure of meeting Mary Scott, you would never know she has been through everything she has.  Mary Scott and her entire family get their haircut at the Great Clips on Rivers Avenue.
